Good Friday morning, friends! My blog coverage has been a little spotty lately, but we’re all still here–kitties included, of course!
Each week I have great plans to knock out sooo many posts! The ideas for content just swirl in my head but the time it takes to get it through my fingers on the keyboard for typing and editing just isn’t there some weeks. I truly enjoy blogging! It’s been a fun, creative outlet for me! BUT, my home and family come first and even though this blog is about my home and family, it would be hypocritical of me to put all my energy into posts while neglecting my family’s needs. Oftentimes, I’ll set aside a little pocket of time late in the afternoon before dinner or late in the evening when the house is quiet to blog, but if a need comes up (and it often does) that’s what I’m really here for! So, quite frequently, the times I’ve set aside during the week for blogging end up being given to more pressing needs. And that’s perfectly fine–I love my role in the home, and I love my people!
That being said, I would still like to get back on a more regular blogging schedule. Last night I looked in my “drafts” box (aka the VAULT) and, y’all, I have 47 posts waiting to be finished! Often when I have an idea or some great photos, I quickly open a new post and click away for a few minutes just to save my thoughts. Then I go back from time to time and click a few more minutes as those ideas continue to develop in my head, which mostly occurs while my hands are working–isn’t work some great thinking time! But being able to finish each post has just been impossible. Apparently, I have more ideas than time, ha!! It’s easy to whip out a recipe or Snapshot Saturday, but these waiting posts require a little more thought and work. So, I’m aiming to get back to that material that’s just sitting and start bringing out those dusty posts from the vault!
Hope you all have a fabulous fall weekend and I’ll see you back here tomorrow for Snapshot Saturday!

Love the kitty photos! Cats are the best. I completely understand about finding time to blog. I have a ton of drafts myself. I need to do better!
