The Ways of Her Home

Embracing the homeward call

Small Town Coffee

March 22, 2025

Something I love about living in our little town is that it’s part of a cluster of small towns all connected by scenic country roads. And the best part? They each have their own unique coffee shop! Here are some photos of a neat little coffee shop in a neighboring town. It’s a fun mix of Bohemian and thrift store chic. If you’re local and haven’t seen this one, shoot me a text and I’ll give you the name and location. This is a must stop!

Below is an encouragement corner where you can leave uplifting post-it notes for others to see.

The furniture and decor is full of interesting details. The coffee table below has coffee beans in it.

And then there are all the gorgeous plants!

The coffee selections change seasonally so my daughter and I like to stop in every time a new menu is released. The drinks below were part of their Valentine menu in February. So delicious! The owner is always experimenting and working to create the perfect recipes for each seasonal theme. She’s so sweet and always interested in getting to know her costumers and welcoming their feedback on her coffees and teas. She also hosts a Bible study there each week.

Another fun thing they do there is host Saturday coffee and craft hours for the community. In February they offered a little lesson on making a macramé photo holder. So cute!

I had so much fun getting to know the other people at my table. We laughed and shared stories and got so tickled over our mistakes. We spanned a range of ages, and a man even came with his wife. He caught on to macramé pretty quickly and then finished another macrame after she got stuck. The young girl sitting next to me had the cutest personality and told me that my glasses were “wicked cool”! So funny.

Our ticket for the craft lesson included a coffee and cookie. Don’t mind if I do!

Afterwards I walked across the street to a shop with beautiful home decor that I love to visit. They had their springy stuff out which was delightful.

And speaking of spring, BOY AM I READY!! Ahh, and this weather! It’s glorious. I’ll be working outside today planting this year’s veggies, herbs, and flowers.

I’ll be back next week to share about my current Bible study for this year. Have a great weekend!

It was so good to see yall too, Heidi!! 🥰
Yes, I love the extra touch with the flower too. They add some kind of embellishment to every cup to go along with their menu theme. Feels fancy! 🌟
