Good morning! It’s a fresh day with some fresh new faves and finds for kitchen and bath! These are just a few items I’ve been enjoying lately.

KITCHEN TOWELS & SOAP
To go with the lemon placemats I found earlier in the season, Dollar General now has these lemon tea towels. They are just $3.50 for a pack of two, making them $1.75 a piece! I also picked up the lemon hand soap there as well. I got one towel/soap set for myself, and another set to take to my sister (She gave me that teapot in the photo!). The kids and I are leaving today to spend a few days with her family and we are so excited! Allison, if you read this before I get there, just act surprised!
My sister-in-law gave me this beautiful vegetable tea towel and radish-scented soap for a thank you gift. I love that the towel says “Rooted in Family”! That describes us perfectly!
The radish soap is definitely a new scent for me and I’m hooked! Meyer’s products are always fun to give and receive any time of the year because their scents follow the seasons. Joel smelled it and said, “I’ve never thought about how a radish would smell, but I like it!”

BATH ACCESSORIES
In a pinch before an overnight guest came one weekend, I picked a couple of these Chenille Bath Mats from Dollar General, and let me say, I’ll be going back for another one or two! They are sooo soft and luxurious on the feet, and for only $6, a fabulous bargain!

SKIN CARE
I mentioned before that my mom introduced me to the Bolero line from Dollar Tree with their Hibiscus & Pink Clay Face Wipes. I went back to see what other products they carried in that scent and decided to try the Hibiscus Pink Clay Face Wash. Like the face wipes, the scent is lovely. It’s consistency is thinner than my regular face wash, so I mostly use it in the morning when I’m not washing off make-up, but I like it a lot and will purchase it again.
My sister-in-law’s mother gifted me the Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion back in the spring for my birthday. When she gave it to me she told me to “bathe in it” after I get out of the shower. So I took her advice, and oh, wow! It’s amazing!! The difference in my skin when I use this is really something. It has a mild and pleasing scent that, on its own, is very nice, but doesn’t at all clash with any other fragrance I might want to add (perfume, body spray, hand lotion, etc). I’m running low on it so rather than bathing in it, I’m using it more sparingly now.

BODY WASH
Peonies are one of my very favorite flowers and very favorite body scents. I love peonies so much that I once purchased a Shirley Temple Pink Peony to plant in my yard, despite the fact that it wasn’t zoned for our region. Sadly, my determination did not pay off and it died, so now I just look for anything made in a peony scent. I was tickled pink to find this Pink Peony & Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash by Softsoap. It’s smells every bit as delightful as the real flower, and with the bonus of a body scrub!
By the name alone, Water Lily and Apple Blossom Shower Gel had my attention right away when I saw it on Avon’s website. It’s a tad more perfume-y so I save it mostly for when I’m getting dressed up! It just has that “special occasion” scent to it!

CANDLE FRAGRANCE
My daughter gave me this Lavender & Chamomile Candle, and it’s heavenly in my bathroom! The chamomile and lavender are so soft together. I burn it while taking a soak in the tub or while getting ready in the morning. I also tend to burn it when I clean the bathroom to get a lovely scent going right away.

So there you have them! I’d love to know if you’ve used any of these products, or what other new ones you’ve found and enjoyed lately!
