I Have a New Blog Home!

Hi, friends! I’d like to invite you all to join me over at my new blog Her Lovely Common Life! But first, before you head over there, you might be wondering why I’m starting a new blog site, so let me explain.

This year marked my tenth year of blogging! I began in 2015 at Happy is the House. I closed that blog three years later to start The Work of Her Hands which eventually morphed into The Ways of Her Home. I’ve always enjoyed blogging until this year when the technical side and the yearly fees became a little too much. Since my start, I’ve used WordPress and worked hard to keep up with the changing technology by researching, googling techy terms, figuring things out, and asking for help when needed. For a long time, I actually enjoyed challenging and stretching myself in this area, however, I am at a point in my life of simplifying unnecessary areas of frustration and this is now one of them.

So, I’m moving over to Blogger and starting fresh with a simple (and free!) format. No bells. No whistles. I just want to continue sharing tidbits from my life without the fuss.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following along all these years and I hope you’ll come find me at my new address: www.herlovelycommonlife.blogspot.com. Why the name Her Lovely Common Life? Well, first of all, as with baby names and cat names, I always have a list of good blog names I want to use. And since I won’t be having more babies or bringing home more cats, I’ll just use up my blog names, haha.
