The Ways of Her Home

Embracing the homeward call

Hello Again!

February 6, 2026

Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a while since I’ve written in this space because I’ve been over at my new blog site Her Lovely Common Life. Over there, I try to keep a posting schedule of Tuesdays and Thursdays unless I have a tech issue or I just don’t have anything in particular to say that day. Yesterday I shared details and photos of my latest little project: a book and tea cabinet! You can click here to read about it. It was a really fun post to write! Here’s a little sneak peek…..

So, I’m popping back over here today because I’ve had several friends tell me lately that they can’t find my new blog. I know the big reason for that is because I don’t have a built-in subscription option on Blogger like I’ve had here on WordPress, so posts don’t come to your inbox. I’ve researched and apparently I would need a third party to help me offer email subscriptions and one of the reasons I moved over to Blogger was to simplify the tech side of blogging. Sooo, while I am loving the new setup of my new blog, there are still some downsides.

Fortunately, a young media-savvy friend of mine, had advised me to keep both blogs for a while to see which I like working with better before letting go of The Ways of Her Home here on WordPress. Since this WordPress site isn’t up for renewal until this summer, I knew I’d have a while to hold on to it while trying out Her Lovely Common Life over at Blogger.

So, the jury is still out, and I thought I’d give you as my readers the opportunity to give your opinion on which format you find easier to visit. And who knows, maybe I’ll keep them both. We’ll see!

I hope you’ve had a blessed week!

I’m glad you found it, Mom! You can check in over there on Tuesdays and Thursdays for new posts. I might still hop on this one every now and then, but Her Lovely Common Life is where I mostly stay right now. Thanks for inquiring! 🙂
