Good morning, friends. My, how I’ve missed you all! I’m way behind on blogging and I’ve missed it so much because it’s a fun, creative outlet for me. Even during the busy seasons of life, I try to make time for journaling at least a few memories here, but some seasons just leave absolutely NO time. We are thick in the middle of homeschooling, spring soccer for two of our kids, and wedding planning and college graduation for my oldest, among other things. Some moments I’m completely overwhelmed and then other moments I’m having the time of my life with it all! My husband and I just keep saying to each other, “We will look back on these days and miss them so much!” I think a person can be filled to the brim with both stress and gratitude simultaneously, don’t you? And I am so grateful for all God is allowing us to enjoy in this season of parenting.
I have sooo much to share from life lately–travel, projects, small thoughts–and I hope to do so soon, but for now I want to offer you a virtual bouquet of flowers for your day. Actually, these are flowers my husband gave me for my birthday, but they’ve brought me so many smiles at just the right moments, that I’d like to share them with YOU in case you are also having one of those weeks.
Blessings on your day, my friends!
P.S. Just as I completed this post, I spilt my full cup of coffee all over my bedroom table and carpet. 😂😩

There are few things in my opinion like fresh flowers to lift one’s soul…whether Queen Anne’s lace picked along side the road or an exquisitely arranged vase of expensive fragrant blooms! Of course, one of my favorites is the zinnia! Not only are there many sweet memories associated with my childhood and my mother’s ability to grow zinnias, but some of my favorite table arrangements have been ones where a handfull of colorful zinnias were thrust down into a pretty blue and white teapot. Requires little effort, but radiates beauty beyond description! Now….if the squirrels will only let my zinnia seeds germinate this year….

You tell those squirrels to leave your special Silos zinnia seed alone or they’ll have to answer to a Chip and Joanna! 😂
